Location

An exceptional location in the heart of Paris

The Hôtel du Lion d’Or is very central, ideal as a starting point to explore Paris and discover its main areas and most famous monuments.
Some of them, including the Musée du Louvre and the Opéra Garnier, are within a short walking distance.

The « Tuileries » métro station is barely 350m away and is direct to the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the La Défense business centre.

The neighborhood

The most prestigious monuments within walking distance

From our hotel, the famous Musée du Louvre and the Palais Royal are within easy walking distance, so too are the Marché Saint-Honoré, the Invalides and the very chic Place Vendôme.

The Jardin des Tuileries and the Jardin du Luxembourg, also very close, are wonderful for walks, as is the Pont des Arts, a pedestrian bridge over the Seine, which has become a meeting place for lovers from all over the world. Music lovers will delight in the proximity of the Opéra Garnier and also of several theatres.

The emblematic areas of the Sentier and of Les Halles, the Musée d’Orsay, the Ile de la Cité with the Notre-Dame Cathedral are all easily reached from the hotel.
